Compare demand in context.
Demand Index™ is a market comparison framework, not a production score or a hard-coded ranking.
A relative scale needs a defined reference
A future 0–100 index could describe relative position within a named comparison set and period. Without defined inputs, normalization, and coverage, a number has no defensible meaning.
Potential inputs
Signal volume, signal recency, audience density, customer fit, market activity, and geographic concentration may inform a program. No universal weights or formula are claimed.
Make comparisons reproducible
Document sources, missing-data handling, geographic boundaries, time windows, and any changes in methodology. A changing score can reflect changing coverage rather than changing demand.
Use it for a bounded decision
Compare serviceable markets, then review capacity, cost, competition, and a practical test. A relative index is not a purchase probability or revenue prediction.
